Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least three years of professional, retirement plan investment advisory experience in a 401(k) and/or 403(b) environment
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of industry and professional concepts, principles, practices and procedures
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations and professional standards
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and enterprise communication and travel solutions (Concur, Microsoft TEAMS)
  • Experience performing work that requires initiative and leadership skills
  • Pursuing Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Qualified 401(K) Administrator (QKA) and/or Series 65 licensing as requested by organization
  • Ability to anticipate and elicit customer needs
  • Ability to self-learn and develop business and technical knowledge quickly
  • Motivated team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working with quick turnaround times and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel as necessary

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Provide DC consulting solutions to clients related to advisory services
  • Manage client portfolios pursuant to approved asset allocation models
  • Provide individual and global investment advice to plan participants
  • Maximizing Plan Sponsor and Participant return on investment
  • Identifying and addressing participant savings and investments gaps
  • Improving plan efficiency to reduce costs and related administration
  • Assist clients with all related IRS, ERISA, and Department of Labor compliance
  • Complete or review all aspects of Annual Plan Administration including:
  • Annual testing for plans including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 402(g)
  • Government filings such as: Form 5500, 8955-SSA, 5330, 1099-R, 1096, 945
  • Required notices and disclosures such as QDIA and QACA
  • Review, creation, and distribution of Plan Documents
  • Fiduciary Compliance and Training
  • Record keeping review
  • Trust accounting preparation and reconciliation
  • Contribution/allocation calculations including: Match, Safe Harbor, Top Heavy, Profit Sharing and Projected testing
  • Employee data reconciliation
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
