Target Salary Range*:$165,500-$167,500

Position Overview

Serves as the top-level technical expert responsible for the design and development of client/server environments. Develops client/server strategies and the infrastructure designs necessary to support those strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Client/Server Architecture and Strategy

• Develop client/server system strategies and the infrastructure designs necessary to support them.
• Advise on the selection of technology purchases related to processing, data storage, data access, and application development.
• Establish standards for the organization's client/server relational database structure, including SQL, Oracle, Sybase, and similar technologies.
• Advise management on the feasibility of potential future projects.

Network Integration and Engineering

• Provide technical expertise and assist with network integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments.
• Address and resolve complex technical problems related to the installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems.
• Document engineering standards and lead the development of network architecture, engineering designs, and changes.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.

Technical Analysis and Collaboration

• Interface with customers, vendors, and other technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements.
• Evaluate current and emerging network technologies, conduct technical assessments, and make recommendations to the Chief Engineer.
• Solve complex problems involving multiple variables.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science [Required].

Experience

• 7 years of relevant experience [Required].

Certifications

• IAT Level II certification [Required].

Clearance

• TS/SCI clearance [Required].
• Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly [Required].
