JOB TITLE: Client Relationship Manager 
MAX PR: $48.44/hr
LOCATION: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
JOB TYPE: Contract


Position Summary

We are seeking a Client Relationship Manager to support institutional clients within the Futures & Options and OTC Clearing space. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, handling trade and position inquiries, lifecycle events, and ensuring high-quality service across global markets.

This is a client-facing, high-impact role requiring strong derivatives knowledge and stakeholder management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for clients across Futures, Options, and OTC Clearing
  • Handle client queries related to trades, positions, lifecycle events, commissions, and reporting
  • Manage escalations and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues
  • Support client activities around trade lifecycle events and expiries
  • Coordinate client access to internal systems (e.g., Mercury portal)
  • Maintain and update client profiles and documentation
  • Conduct regular client meetings, provide updates, and track key issues
  • Partner with internal teams (product, clearing, collateral) to support client needs
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual effort
  • Monitor metrics and support reporting via tools like Tableau

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Futures & Options and/or OTC Clearing
  • Experience in client service / relationship management within capital markets
  • Knowledge of trade lifecycle, margin processes, and derivatives products
  • Experience with systems like GMI or similar
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with institutional clients
  • Experience in global markets / investment banking environments
  • Exposure to reporting tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Experience working with offshore/global teams
