    Client Relations Manager

We provide full accounting services, including but not limited to valuations, fractional CFO services, forecasting, month-end closing, bookkeeping, compliance, and other similar finance services.  This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a background in finance, accounting, consulting, or wealth management who thrives on building strong relationships and driving new business.     • Identify and pursue new client opportunities via outbound calls, travel, and in-person or virtual networking.
    • Use defined criteria to vet prospects before introducing them to firm partners.
    • Develop and deliver tailored presentations to potential clients.
    • Draft and submit professional proposals that align with client needs.
    • Present updates and performance metrics during weekly internal sales meetings.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
    • Keep informed of industry trends, financing options, and competitor activity.
    • Support marketing efforts by contributing to campaign strategy, content development, and lead generation initiatives.
    • Represent M&G at industry trade shows, local rotary, and conventions to enhance brand visibility, build relationships, and generate new business leads.
    • Schedule and manage client engagement events.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Desired Skills
    • Strong background in financial services, including finance, accounting, or wealth management.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven track record in consultative sales and relationship-building.
    • Understanding of business financing options (i.e., bank loans, private equity).
    • Ability to work independently and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
    • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.
    • Existing book of business or client network is highly desirable.
    Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field preferred.
    • 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally in financial services or a related industry.
    • Prior experience in consulting or with a Big 4 firm is advantageous.
    • Series 6, 7, 63, and/or 66 certification is desirable.
