Client Relations ManagerBrightStar Care of Hunterdon County is seeking a Client Relations Manager to join our team at our Clinton office. This role is responsible for coordinating caregiver schedules, maintaining reliable care coverage, communicating with clients and families, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch.The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to balance client needs, caregiver availability, and last-minute scheduling changes with professionalism and urgency.ResponsibilitiesScheduling and Care CoverageSchedule field staff to meet client care needs and ensure consistent coverage.Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related matters.Coordinate caregiver assignments based on client needs, availability, skill set, and compatibility.Manage schedule changes, call-outs, open shifts, and urgent coverage needs.Help ensure 24/7 care coverage and proper on-call support.Maintain schedules for up to 60 clients and approximately 1,800 hours of care per week.Use scheduling, applicant tracking, learning management, and internal communication systems to support branch operations.Help minimize non-billed overtime through effective scheduling practices.Ensure timely and accurate time records, billing information, coding, and reporting.Client, Family, and Caregiver CommunicationMaintain regular communication with clients, family caregivers, and field staff.Support client satisfaction by providing responsive, professional, and reliable service.Follow up with clients and caregivers after care begins and on an ongoing basis to ensure service quality.Track client feedback related to caregiver performance and care experience.Communicate client needs and plan of care details to field staff as directed by the Director of Nursing or other clinical leadership.Help ensure service reflects BrightStar Care's standards for high-quality care and client experience.Client Care and Branch SupportSupport intake calls, new client referral calls, and scheduling of home visits.Send information to prospective clients as needed.Assist with maintaining client files, documentation, and confidentiality standards.Support customer care procedures and serve as a point of contact for client and family questions.Help ensure client care standards, HIPAA requirements, and branch procedures are followed.May support field staff competency assessment coordination under the direction of the Director of Nursing, if applicable.QualificationsPrevious scheduling, staffing, care coordination, or healthcare office experience preferred.Home care, home health, senior care, or healthcare scheduling experience strongly preferred.Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare office standards preferred.CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Strong organization, planning, and follow-through skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Able to work in a fast-paced office environment with limited supervision.Professional attitude and demeanor.Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid state-required auto insurance.Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray required.Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily based in a fast-paced office environment with frequent phone and computer use. The position requires regular interaction with employees, caregivers, clients, and families. Occasional client environment exposure may occur depending on business needs.Physical requirements may include sitting or standing for extended periods, typing, using a computer, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 10 pounds regularly.
