Position Summary As part of the managed account solutions platform, the Specialist, Client Operations provides operational support for separately managed account (SMA) and unified managed account (UMA) programs. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day client and account servicing activities, processing transactions and account maintenance requests, maintaining accurate operational data, and resolving routine operational inquiries. Working closely with Operations, Client Service, Technology, and Relationship Management teams, the Specialist helps ensure efficient execution of operational processes and a high-quality experience for investment managers, financial advisors, sponsors, and clients throughout the managed account lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day processing and administration of SMA and UMA programs across the managed account platform.
Process account activity, transactions, and maintenance requests in accordance with established procedures and service level expectations.
Review, validate, and maintain client, account, and portfolio data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Assist with account onboarding, account maintenance activities, and ongoing servicing requirements.
Perform operational reconciliations and research routine discrepancies, escalating complex issues when appropriate.
Support the delivery of reports, model data, and client-related information to internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with Operations, Client Service, Technology, and Relationship Management teams to support client needs and operational activities.
Monitor workflows and help ensure compliance with operational procedures, controls, and risk management practices.
Participate in process improvement initiatives designed to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
2-4 years of experience in client operations, investment operations, managed accounts, asset servicing, client processing, or a related financial services environment preferred.
