    ABOUT THE ROLE

    A growing fund administration firm is seeking an experienced Client Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of private equity and private debt fund clients. This client-facing leadership role will coordinate internal operations teams, oversee fund administration activities, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial and investor reporting.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting and a desire to expand into client management and operational leadership. This role offers significant exposure to fund structures, governing agreements, capital activity, valuations, fees, cash management, and investor reporting while serving as a trusted advisor to sophisticated fund clients.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of fund clients
    • Develop a strong understanding of client SOPs, fund structures, and governing agreements
    • Coordinate internal teams, workloads, and deadlines across fund administration functions
    • Oversee capital calls, distributions, allocations, valuations, and cash monitoring
    • Review management fee calculations and related fund activity
    • Oversee quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial and investor reporting
    • Review and finalize quarterly financial reports and investor communications
    • Coach and support team members to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
    • Monitor compliance with internal controls and document retention requirements
    • Identify operational issues and drive resolution across internal teams
    • Maintain proactive relationships with clients and provide ongoing operational guidance
    • Partner with leadership on process improvements and service delivery initiatives

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • 5+ years of fund accounting or fund administration experience
    • Experience supporting private equity, private credit, or alternative investment funds
    • Strong understanding of fund structures and governing agreements
    • Experience with capital calls, distributions, allocations, and valuations
    • Knowledge of management fee calculations and fund expense activity
    • Experience reviewing financial statements and investor reporting
    • Strong understanding of fund accounting controls and operational processes
    • Excellent client relationship and communication skills
    • Ability to coordinate multiple teams, priorities, and deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
