Requirements:
3+ years of successful technology sales experience supporting State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) customers within Indiannapolis.
Demonstrated success managing and growing strategic customer relationships within the assigned territory.
Experience engaging executive-level stakeholders and leading consultative, value-based sales conversations.
Strong understanding of the Indiannapolis SLED landscape, including procurement processes, funding mechanisms, contracts, and go-to-market strategies.
Knowledge of E-Rate programs and funding opportunities preferred.
Existing relationships with Illinois public sector organizations and/or R1 research universities are highly desirable.
Experience selling technology solutions and services across one or more of the following areas:
Cybersecurity
Networking and Infrastructure
Cloud and Data Center
Collaboration
Data, Analytics, and AI
Ability to uncover customer challenges, develop strategic account plans, and align the right resources to deliver outcomes.
Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and build strong partner relationships.
Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and relationship management skills.
Candidate preferably resides in Indianapolis, IN or surrounding area.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience preferred.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $90,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
