    Position summary: Responsible for developing, monitoring and maintaining federal client relationships that result in sustainable and profitable business; seeking, developing and securing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic business and tactical action plans and participating in related marketing and business activities for JMT's Buildings and Facilities business line.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    General

    • Collaborate across JMT's four service lines (Transportation; Water, Energy and Environment; Building and Facilities; and Technology) to develop a comprehensive knowledge of firm's practice areas, clients and competition
    • Develop and maintain a strong and diverse business/industry network
    • Develop relationships with new/existing federal clients to discover project and program pipeline
    • Monitor client performance trends/issues utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
    • Participate in training and development of future firm leaders
    • Involved in Professional organizations, committees, and Officer positions
    • Develop and report on Metrics of Marketing success

    Marketing & Business Development

    • Conduct market research and gather information on potential federal markets, clients and projects
    • Develop, monitor and implement strategic business action plans for potential federal market clients and their projects
    • Obtain feedback from clients to assess past JMT performance. Develop corrective action plans, as necessary
    • Lead client presentations, pitches, and proposals to effectively position services and secure new federal business opportunities.

    Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 20+ years of related experience
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the federal market and their qualifications selection process
    • Leadership, management or supervisory experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Understanding of A/E industry terminology, business practices and delivery methods

    Preferred Experience

    • MBA, Professional Registration and/or certifications in area of specialization

    Working Conditions:

    Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
