About us:

Oversees the overall portfolio strategy program, ensuring systematic delivery of all strategy papers and maintaining program standards. Coordinates across regions, manages timelines, and ensures consistent global processes and quality standards are maintained throughout the portfolio. Works at the intersection of multiple functional teams (Strategy, Planning, Transactions, PAM, Projects) whilst leading the CBRE delivery team.

What you'll do:

The Strategy function was formally established in 2026 without precedent, established governance structures, or defined interfaces with adjacent teams. A significant portion of the role involves building / evolving these frameworks while simultaneously delivering against program targets.

  • Process design, improvement and implementation

  • Comfortable in fast-paced environment, with uncertainty, complex stakeholder landscape and competing priorities
  • Distributed team leadership across time zones

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Strategy function within Real Estate Leadership Team and drive integration across the verticals
  • Deliver against account OKRs
  • Manage annual portfolio strategy calendar and deliverable schedule, managing client expectations regarding program scope, timelines, and deliverable content
  • Maintain and evolve the portfolio tiering framework and trigger assessments
  • Ensure standardized methodology, quality standards and template consistency, from kick off to approvals
  • Improve data governance and automation
  • Manage program and data tracking tools
  • Track progress across all stages of the project lifecycle (kick off to approvals), resource allocation / capacity across regions
  • Facilitate cross-regional coordination and best practice sharing, defining handoff points and reducing duplication
  • Manage stakeholder communications and approval processes
  • Oversee and drive continuous process improvements across the program lifecycle
  • Evolve strategy team meeting cadence structure to facilitate strategy development process
  • Drive AI / technology integration for program efficiency and quality and oversee transition to new systems as they come online
  • Translate and embed evolving client priorities into site strategy methodology and recommendations
  • Identify and address team capability gaps relative to evolving program demands
  • Represent strategy program at QBR and leadership forums. Feed into LPR submissions
  • Quality assures individual site strategy deliverables
  • Strategy ideation and development for more complex hub and lite strategies

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems
  • Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $190,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $225,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
