Own authorizations, claims, and accounts receivable so families get accurate billing and clinicians can keep delivering care.
Compensation: $19–$23 per hour
Locations: Saint George, Utah
What will you do
- Verify client eligibility and benefits and obtain insurance authorizations.
- Follow up on claims, including appealing denied claims.
- Post insurance and patient payments and process refunds.
- Calculate client responsibility and communicate co-pays and balances.
- Handle charge posting and insurance billing.
- Answer billing questions from clients, providers, and staff.
Qualifications
- Two years minimum experience in medical billing, insurance, and collections.
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 behavioral health coding.
- Familiarity with mental health and ABA terminology.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and electronic health records.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Spanish is a plus.
