CLIENT ADVOCATE

DEPARTMENT: Public Defender

HIRING RANGE: $28.58-$31.75/hour based on education and position related

experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: Monday 8:00-5:00, Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 -4:00

JOB SUMMARY:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, family systems, human development, psychology, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of and ability to use various resources, including Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM)V, legal codes, social work dictionary, National Association of Social Workers, and mental health and addiction screening tools
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent organizational, communication skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures and practices
  • Pre-employment background check
