About the Role:
Bredernitz Wagner & Co PC is looking for a detail-oriented Client Accounting Specialist to join their team in Howell, MI. This is a great opportunity to work closely with clients and deliver high-quality accounting support in a professional, collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of clients
• Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and client accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Generate financial reports and statements for client review
• Communicate directly with clients to resolve accounting discrepancies and answer inquiries
• Support tax preparation efforts by organizing and verifying financial data

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines
