Audit Clerk

Pay: $19.00-$21.00/ hourly The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

The audit clerk is responsible for the daily audit of the cashier shift reports, POF machine records, and monthly sales reports and invoicing. Audit clerk will also perform spot audits of cashier tickets and random cashier audits.

Responsibilities

  • Count and reconcile daily cashier revenue and document discrepancies any discrepancies and report findings in audit report to Management
  • Review all tickets for accurate processing and recording on cashier report
  • Audit cashier banks periodically for accuracy
  • Audit POF banks/cassettes to ensure accuracy of funds
  • Audit POF machine records and procedures by staff to ensure dual custody and appropriate procedures followed to ensure integrity of the process
  • Audit credit card reconciliation and process to ensure compliance
  • Perform random cashier audits by dumping machines, count cash drawer and bank and review tickets
  • Perform key check audits to ensure all facility "keys" are appropriately accounted for

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
