JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter and manage purchase order data for vendors, maintenance, and production teams
- Track inventory levels through periodic physical counts; restock supplies upon delivery
- Record parts and supply receipts in the inventory system to maintain real-time accuracy
- Order materials and parts required for maintenance and production operations
- Generate and distribute preventive maintenance work orders
- Maintain system data in alignment with company policies and procedures
- Assist in creating and distributing reports that support maintenance and production planning
- Process internal billing for maintenance and production activities
- Prepare documentation for equipment shipping and receiving
- Uphold all safety standards and ensure compliance with company safety protocols
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of related experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
- Solid math skills: ability to perform basic calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Primarily a seated role, but involves intermittent standing and walking
- Periodic lifting and handling of inventory items
- Frequent movement throughout the plant, including cool/damp areas
- Required use of safety footwear while in the cooler
