Job Description
The Transportation Clerk plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of an HISD Transportation Terminal by providing timely and accurate administrative and clerical support. This position helps ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students by maintaining essential records, supporting routing and scheduling functions, and providing responsive service to parents, staff, and campus personnel. In line with HISD's commitment to operational excellence and service to schools, the Transportation Clerk works collaboratively with transportation leadership and school communities to uphold high standards of accuracy, communication, and responsiveness in all assigned duties.
