The Ticket Office Assistant will use the Ticketmaster and other ticketing systems to perform a variety of ticket office functions. Responsibilities will vary and will be assigned based on the
needs for each event.
Responsibilities
Use Ticketmaster and other ticketing systems to fulfill event ticket orders, prepare and send invoices, and process payments.
Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, respond to emails, and data
entry.
Direct customer assistance with any event ticketing questions or issues.
Assist with all ticket office operations on event days as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Incumbents in this position are expected to be familiar with department and
University policies and procedures in order to answer and assist students, staff,
faculty, and visitors.
Minimum Qualifications
One year customer service or related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communications skills; and basic computer skills required.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Preferences
At least 1 year of ticketing experience for large events.
