Introduction:
The role is essential for supporting manufacturing operations within a cleanroom environment. The technician will work closely with process engineers to ensure quality, safety, and production efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with manual wafer handling in a cleanroom environment
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts
- Experience with MOCVD processes
- General proficiency using spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or similar tools)
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to cleanroom protocols
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in a technical or science-related field
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Follow MES instructions for work prioritization and execution
- Load and unload process tools, including tools requiring manual wafer handling
- Operate metrology tools, including X-ray Diffraction (XRD)
- Perform visual quality inspections and enter measurement data accurately
- Adhere strictly to cleanroom and safety procedures
- Collaborate with process engineers to support daily manufacturing activities
