Looking for a full-time overnight job with weekday hours? We re hiring for an Industrial Cleaning position in Hastings, NE, paying $20/hour.
This is a physical, hands-on cleaning position inside an industrial hide processing facility. You ll help keep production areas, equipment and workspaces clean and safe. Candidates should be comfortable working in a wet industrial environment, around raw animal byproducts and heavy equipment.
What You ll Do:
Clean and sanitize production areas, floors, walls, equipment and work surfaces
Shovel and dispose of cow fat, trim and other processing materials
Power wash floors, production equipment, machines and trailers
Use hoses, pressure washers, brushes, scrapers and other cleaning tools
Remove hide scraps and other debris from work areas
Pick up and dispose of broken pallet pieces, boxes and other materials
Clean around and underneath production equipment
Maintain clean and orderly work areas throughout the facility
Perform additional cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned
Train to operate a forklift as needed
What We re Looking For:
Reliable and dependable with good attendance
Comfortable working around raw animal hides and animal byproducts
Comfortable working in a wet, industrial environment
Ability to lift 30 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform physical work throughout the entire shift
Willingness to perform dirty, hands-on cleaning tasks
Ability to safely work around industrial machinery and equipment
Team-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

$20/hour
Monday Friday
9: 00 PM 6: 00 AM
3rd shift/overnight hours
