Responsibilities Shall include but are not limited to the following:Attend meetings as neededFollow directives (written, oral, electronic)General cleaner assignmentsAbility to dust mop and wet mop designated floor areasDust all areas of the school as needed.Safe and efficient operation of electric backpack vacuumsSafe and efficient operation of floor cleaning machinesSafe and efficient cleaning of hazardous spills including bodily fluidsSafe and efficient use of chemicals for cleaning and disinfectingClean mop and disinfect bathroomsClean and disinfect drinking fountainsWashing walls, panels and windows as needed.Regular inspections of doorways and windowsReport damaged school property to supervisorsSnow and ice removal from designated areasGarbage and waste removal from designated areasSafe and proper lifting and maneuvering of classroom desks and chairsRoom set up as designated by staff members for meetings or events.Prepare for extra-curricular events and activities as directedSecure areas of the school building as directed at the end of shiftRespond in a timely manner to requests for service from staff membersUnload and deliver shipment containers to classrooms and common areas of the schoolAble to interact in a professional manner with staff, students and visitors.Maintain confidentiality with staff, students, and family informationMaintain Data Security as applicationOperate in a respectful, responsible mannerOther assigned duties and/or responsibilities which may be deemed appropriate by the supervisor.
