This role may also include teaching English Language Arts ELA sections depending on scheduling needs.

What Were Looking For
Certified or soon-to-be-certified teachers in Social Studies History or Middle-Level Education
Ability to teach middle school social studies content such as U.S. history world history civics geography and cultural studies
Ability to integrate reading writing and critical thinking skills into social studies instruction
Willingness to teach some English Language Arts ELA sections if needed
Ability to develop engaging lessons that promote historical thinking analysis of primary sources and civic engagement
Experience using data and assessments to drive instruction and support student growth
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues families and instructional leaders
Commitment to equity excellence and continuous professional growth
