Goodwin University Magnet School System is seeking a full-time high school science teacher at RiverTech at Goodwin University, Connecticut's first technical magnet school. This role will allow the educator to create an innovative science curriculum with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary learning, space science, engineering, and advanced manufacturing applications. The ideal candidate is an experienced science educator who can connect rigorous scientific concepts to real-world problems and career pathways in advanced manufacturing.
This position will provide the opportunity to design interdisciplinary learning experiences that integrate science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and advanced manufacturing skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with technical education teachers to create authentic, project-based learning experiences. The candidate should also have a strong background in, or interest in, Earth and space science, aerospace, physics, or related fields and be able to use these areas as contexts for inquiry, design thinking, and technology integration. This unique position fosters curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and innovation while supporting students in technical pathways through authentic, real-world applications.
