CT Special Education certification required
Ben Bronz Academy is a State of Connecticut approved special education day school for students in grades 2-12 with learning disabilities. Our goal is to help students with learning disabilities learn to identify and correct their functional weaknesses and to develop strong, spontaneous thinking habits that build self-confidence and foster greater curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. We enable bright children who have a learning disability to achieve academic success and strengthen their curiosity, perseverance, patience, self-reliance, motivation, and focus. We have a 3:1 student to teacher ratio and a proven, structured, individualized program.

A great opportunity for an individual who possesses an English teaching certification with an interest in content at a varirty of levels.
As a teacher at Ben Bronz Academy, you have the opportunity to share your knowledge of learning strategies with very bright students who learn differently. This position requires you to be a team player, confident in your subject area, a mentor to students, and have an interest in working with special education students. It is important that candidates are committed to their students and want to be a part of their students success. The ideal candidate will be familiar with technology.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree with English certification.
Preferred Experience: Prior experience working in a school setting or working with special education students.
