What Were Looking For
Certified or soon-to-be-certified teachers in English English Language Arts or Middle-Level Education
Strong ability to teachmiddle school ELA skills including reading comprehension vocabulary development grammar and writing
Ability to develop engaging lessons that promotecritical thinking textual analysis and effective communication
Experience teachingliterary and informational textsand guiding students through writing processes
Ability to incorporatediscussion inquiry and project-based learninginto instruction
Experience usingdata and assessments to monitor student progress and support growth
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues families and instructional leaders
