Elementary Teacher (Grade K-6) - 1 year contract

The Wethersfield Public Schools partner with the community and families in fostering our students' ongoing education in a safe and engaging learning environment. Position: Elementary Teacher (K-6) (1 year contract)

School: District (one of five elementary schools)

Reports To: Principal

Start Date: Immediate

Compensation: $57,847-$114,618 (full-time annual)

Our district has an opening for an anticipated grade K-6 elementary teacher who will work under the direction of the school Principal to provide an exceptional and nurturing learning environment where students feel safe, valued and respected. The elementary teacher may have varied assignments throughout the school year. On a daily basis the teacher will deliver instruction, continually assess student progress and growth, provide ongoing student supervision, regularly share written and verbal feedback with students and families, maintain records of student performance, and continually seek to develop professionally to bring the most current and innovative learning practices to the classroom.
