Position is contigent upon award of Federal Contract.Summary:The Classification Specialist will perform a full range of technical and administrative human resources management services relating to classification. This may include the following:Responsibilities:Tentatively classify PDs and associated evaluation statements IAW the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Classification Standards, including, but not limited to the General Schedule Supervisory, Team Leader, Wage Supervisor, and Wage Leader guides.Compare PDs to other like PDs and classification standards to ensure consistency in establishing compensation levels across a variety of employment programs. Evaluation statements shall be prepared for positions with precedent-setting classification decisions that become the accepted guideline and standard for specialists within the Civilian Human Resources Office.Assist the CG in conducting job evaluations IAW OPMs Factor Evaluation System (FES), DHS, and CG policies, directives, and procedures. The Specialist shall upload all documents, data, and/or text into the CG position classification system.Prepare advisory evaluation statements for positions with precedent-setting classification decisions that become the accepted guideline and standard for specialists within the HR Directorate for review and future use.Submit modified draft and new PDs electronically to the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Command Staff Advisor, and organizational modification effort managers for comment and approval.Edit existing PDs and inserting new language; preparing workforce profiles.Requirements:Six (6) years of experience in performing the above Classification support duties.What is in it for you?Opportunity to work remotely, based on contract or position.Team building and innovation in a collaborative environment.A competitive base salary with a loaded benefits package.Tuition/Education Assistance.Personal computer device allowance.Pet Insurance.At FYI, inclusion and diversity are fundamental to our culture and our core value of "People First".
