CDL Delivery Driver 


Lincoln, Maine | Full-Time

S.W. Collins Company is looking for a dependable, customer-focused CDL Delivery Driver to join our Lincoln team. This is more than a driving position. Our drivers are an important part of the customer experience, representing S.W. Collins every time they make a delivery, load a customer, or interact with a contractor or homeowner.

What You'll Do 


  • Safely and efficiently deliver lumber, building materials, and other products to customers.
  • Load and unload lumber and building materials using proper equipment and safe work practices.
  • Assist contractors and homeowners with loading materials at the warehouse.
  • Stage and organize materials throughout the yard.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked warehouse and yard.
  • Communicate professionally with contractors, homeowners, coworkers, and other members of the S.W. Collins team.
  • Provide the legendary customer service our customers have come to expect from S.W. Collins.
  • Work as part of a team to keep our yard, warehouse, and delivery operation running smoothly.

What We're Looking For
 
  • A valid CDL and a safe driving record.
  • A dependable team player with a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • The ability to safely handle lumber and building materials.
  • Someone who takes pride in keeping their work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing to the team.
  • Experience in a lumberyard, building materials, delivery, or construction environment is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
