Deliver MORE than ice cream. Build relationships at every stop.
DFA Dairy Brands is seeking a safety-minded Class A CDL Driver to join our 31 Logistics team. Domiciled at our Lancaster, Texas depot, approximately 15 miles south of downtown Dallas, this position delivers DFA-manufactured ice cream products to established franchise customer locations throughout Texas.
Our drivers are ambassadors for our business-trusted delivery partners who take pride in safe driving, reliable service, and strong customer relationships. You'll operate a refrigerated tractor-trailer, follow an assigned route schedule, and provide friendly, professional service at every stop.
This is a hands-on delivery position. Drivers use carts to unload and move ice cream products into customer freezers, including maneuvering loaded carts up and down ramps and stacking 3-gallon tubs. Success requires safe work practices, care in handling frozen products, and attention to each customer's delivery procedures.
Routes generally require 2-4 nights away from home per week, with drivers home most weekends. Company-provided fuel and credit cards cover approved fuel, lodging, and meal expenses, so you don't have to front those costs while on the road.
Through our Driver Ambassador training program, you'll strengthen the skills to represent our business with confidence, communicate effectively with customers, and help every delivery go smoothly.
