As a Truck Driver, you'll deliver steel to customers throughout the area while also assisting with forklift and warehouse duties. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on local truck driver who enjoys variety in their day and wants consistent work.
What You'll Earn
- $29.00 per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Average weekly earnings of $1,160-$1,800
- Weekly pay
- Monday-Thursday schedule
- Possible Friday work available
- 7:00 AM start time
What You'll Be Doing
This Truck Driver position combines driving with warehouse support.
- Deliver steel on local routes
- Operate flatbed equipment
- Secure loads using straps and tie-downs
- Perform touch freight duties
- Assist with forklift operations
- Support warehouse activities as needed
- Follow all DOT and safety regulations
Expect approximately:
- 70% driving
- 30% forklift and warehouse work
CDL Driver Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience within the last 3 years
- Acceptable MVR and accident history
- Stable work history
- Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift
- Flatbed experience is required
