Red Rock Construction is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Truck Driver to haul equipment and materials supporting excavation and utility installation projects. This role will primarily operate a truck with side dump trailer, with occasional hauling of equipment using a lowboy trailer.

Position Summary
The Class A CDL Truck Driver is responsible for transporting aggregates, materials, and construction equipment between suppliers, jobsites, and the shop. This position plays an important role in maintaining production efficiency by ensuring crews have the materials and equipment they need when they need them.
Primary hauling will be with a side dump trailer, with occasional use of a lowboy trailer for transporting construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class A CDL truck with side dump trailer
Haul aggregates such as sand, gravel, and rock to jobsites
Occasionally transport construction equipment using a lowboy trailer
Properly secure equipment and materials for safe transport
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain required DOT logs and documentation
Coordinate hauling schedule with foremen and field crews
Assist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment
Maintain clean and well-organized truck and trailer
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Assist field crews with general tasks when hauling is not required
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL
Clean driving record
Experience operating combination vehicles
Ability to safely operate side dump trailer
Ability to safely transport equipment on lowboy trailer
Strong understanding of DOT safety requirements
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Preferred Experience
Experience hauling aggregates with side dump trailer
Experience loading and hauling construction equipment
Familiarity with Sioux Falls area and surrounding region
Basic knowledge of construction equipment
Experience working around excavation or utility crews
