Primary responsibilities
Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, state laws, and company policies
Complete assigned routes, pickups, and deliveries according to schedule and instructions
Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections; report defects and maintenance needs
Maintain accurate hours‑of‑service records and ELD logs
Ensure proper cargo handling, securement, and documentation
Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and deliveries
Follow fuel management, routing, and on‑road safety procedures
Minimum qualifications
Valid CDL‑A license
One of the following experience pathways:
At least 3 months verifiable OTR tractor‑trailer experience plus completion of 120+ hours at a truck driving school within the past 12 months
6 months verifiable OTR, regional, or local tractor‑trailer experience within the last 12 months
12 months verifiable OTR experience within the last 3 years
Able to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and pass required drug screening
Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication
Drivers residing far from domicile may need a safe, authorized place to park assigned equipment
