What You'll Do:
- Safely transport Amazon-branded loads across short-haul and regional routes within a 70-hour driving/duty cycle.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) using smartphone applications and ELD systems.
- Couple, uncouple, back, and dock trailers safely at designated facilities.
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch regarding route progress and safety.
- Play a respected role in keeping Amazon's promise to deliver packages on time, every time.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Age & License: Must be at least 21 years old with an active, valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year (12 months) of verifiable CDL-A driving experience required.
- SAP Candidates:SAP friendly! Candidates enrolled in or compliant with FMCSA Clearinghouse Return-to-Duty requirements are eligible.
- Health & Screenings: Valid DOT Medical Card, ability to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug screen, and background check.
- Driving History: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC report with no current CDL suspensions or revocations.
- Language & Tech: Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing) per DOT regulations; comfortable using smartphone applications and GPS tech.
- Location: Must reside in or be able to commute/relocate to Fargo, ND.
