Spend your week running familiar Southeast freight lanes and get back home for the weekend. LEM Trucking is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver in Birmingham, AL for a regional position covering Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and surrounding areas.

Drivers earn between $1,200 and $1,550 per week based on miles, experience, and applicable additional pay. Detention and layover compensation are available when qualifying situations occur.

This fleet is designed around a predictable weekly schedule. Drivers stay productive during the week and return home for their weekend reset instead of remaining on the road for extended periods.

Freight is 100 percent no-touch dry van, with a combination of drop-and-hook and live load customers. Established regional lanes help provide consistent freight while keeping the operating area concentrated throughout the Southeast.

Equipment and Benefits

CDL A Driver Requirements

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL and at least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Drivers must be at least 21 years old, meet applicable DOT qualification standards, and successfully complete required screening.
