Position Details:
Basic yard duties - moving trailers in and out of dock
Driver will be responsible for spotting upwards of 40-50 trailers per day
Responsible for performing yard checks multiple times a day for inbound deliveries
Required to perform safety inspections on all trailers prior to backing them in for loading
Responsible for making minor repairs (lights, mud flaps, etc.) when identified on written safety report (DVIR log)
Transporting trailers/trucks to & from the maintenance shop for repairs (shop is local)
At times they may be required to help load, stack, or restack a trailer of product if the product has shifted
Additional Information:
Must have reliable transportation back and forth to work
