This Class A CDL Truck Driver position in Columbus, Georgia combines 2,500 to 3,000 average weekly miles with home time every other week and six additional personal days each month.

Freight runs throughout an established dry van network with load availability maintained year round. Drivers should be comfortable spending approximately two weeks on the road before returning home for their scheduled time off.

What Your Workweek Looks Like

Trips consist of dry van freight using both drop and hook loads and scheduled live pickup or delivery appointments. Drivers are not expected to physically handle the freight.

Load planners coordinate upcoming assignments with the goal of maintaining productive mileage and limiting extended gaps between loads. A Class A CDL Truck Driver on this fleet can expect approximately 2,500 to 3,000 miles during a typical week.

Pay and Fleet Details

• Average weekly earnings between $1,200 and $1,600

• Guaranteed weekly pay eligibility after completing 30 days

Equipment and Benefits

Each Class A CDL Truck Driver receives an assigned Kenworth T680 rather than regularly switching equipment. Trucks are model year 2020 or newer and include automatic transmissions, APUs, power inverters, sleeper accommodations, and other features for extended trips.

Eligible drivers can choose medical, dental, and vision coverage. Company paid life insurance and vacation pay are also available. Orientation is paid, with qualifying travel expenses covered during onboarding.

Class A CDL Truck Driver Qualifications

Applicants need a valid Class A CDL and at least three months of verifiable tractor trailer experience within the previous three years. Candidates must satisfy applicable DOT qualifications and company driving record requirements.
