    Looking for a driving job that starts you off right? This full-time position runs no-touch dry van freight on regional lanes east of I-35 out of the Opelika area, built specifically for new CDL-A holders who want real training, not busywork. Expect 2,200 to 2,800 miles most weeks on a 12 days out, 2 days home rotation.

    Equipment & Freight
    You're assigned a 2022 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner, automatic, APU equipped — yours alone, no slip seating. About 70% of loads are drop-and-hook, keeping the miles steady.

    Compensation & Pay
    Weekly average runs $1,300 to $1,550, with top performers pushing past $1,800. Orientation pays $300, with hotel and transportation covered. The paid mentor program runs 4 to 6 weeks with guaranteed pay throughout, then you move straight into full solo pay.

    Requirements

    • 21 or older, valid Class A CDL, current DOT Medical Card
    • Clean driving record
