Job Description

Account: Dicks Sporting Goods: This is a dedicated dry van run delivering to multiple Midwest states including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Michigan. Drivers operate in a region including Indianapolis and Gary, IN. The route includes some night driving, multiple stops, mall deliveries, difficult backing, and some double drop and hooks. *Recent CDLA Graduates/No Experience, Trainees Welcome!

Position Details:

• Home Time: Once a week with 34-hour restart
• Shift: Both Day and Night; 6 work days per work with Sunday off and typically home Friday
• Hiring Location(s): Plainfield, IN
• Pay: $247 Daily Guarantee - as long as working
• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,400 - $1,500
• Weekly Mileage: 1600 - 1900
• Load/Unload: No touch freight or unloading required
• Weekend: Yes
• Holiday: Off Thanksgiving and Christmas; typically pick up on every other holiday

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A (Class A CDL)
• 21+ Years of Age
• First Seat Experienced Drivers, 1-Year Experienced Drivers
• Recent CDLA Graduates/No Experience, *Trainees must have 120 hours of CDL Truck School and go through training as per below
• Must live within 75 miles of Indianapolis, IN
• Must Meet Company Hiring Standards
• ALL drivers will be required to take a new DOT physical and Drug test.

*Trainees- This is a paid one-on-one mentor training for 4-6 weeks. This paid mentor program helps prepare you to operate safely and confidently as a solo driver. Qualified CDL school graduates train one-on-one with an experienced driver while earning $650 week. After successfully completing training, you will move into the account above.
