    Description

    Our client, a leading P&C Insurance Carrier, is hiring for a Claims Supervisor to oversee a team focused on monoline Workers' Compensation claims. This individual will play a key leadership role, driving technical oversight, audit execution, and overall team performance across a group handling complex loss-time claims.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Workers' Compensation claims adjusters managing loss-time claims
    • Conduct regular file reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
    • Provide technical guidance on claim strategy, including compensability, reserving, and resolution approach
    • Oversee claim quality, accuracy, and timeliness across the team's portfolio
    • Manage escalated and complex claims, offering direction on high-exposure matters
    • Partner with leadership to identify trends, improve workflows, and enhance operational efficiency
    • Support training and development initiatives to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities within the team
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure strong alignment on claim handling and client outcomes

    Qualifications

    • 15+ years of Workers' Compensation claims experience
    • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience within a carrier environment
    • Deep expertise in monoline Workers' Compensation, with a strong focus on loss-time claims
    • Demonstrated experience leading audits, improving compliance, and driving team performance
    • Strong technical knowledge of claims handling, litigation management, and reserving practices
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills
    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
