Hiring a Remote Claims Specialist role in AZ!

**You are required to go on-site 1-2 days per quarter in Scottsdale**

Schedule: M-F 6 AM - 3 PM

Pay Rate: $22-$24/hr

**Opportunity for monthly bonuses once brought on permantly after contract duration is met**

Day to day:

• Manage 25-30 insurance claims per day, prioritizing accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
• Navigate out-of-network claims and reimbursement workflows
• Conduct eligibility and benefits verifications, including air ambulance-specific criteria
• Investigate and process member appeals (not provider appeals)
• Gather and submit prior authorizations, medical records, and required documentation
• Collaborate with patients, families, employers, and insurance providers via phone, email, and online chat
• Maintain detailed records in accordance with HIPAA and internal documentation standards
• Track personal productivity and quality metrics to qualify for monthly incentive bonuses

Must Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of A/R and collections experience with good tenure.
• Must have out-of-network experience. Hospital or single-specialty background with commercial insurance is a plus.

Benefits:

- In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
