Claims Service Representative - Louisville, KY

Charles Taylor is a highly successful global provider of professional services to the insurance industry. We are seeking an enthusiast Claims Service Representative to join our team.

The position is hybrid in Louisville, KY. You'll work in the office until you're fully trained, then transition to a hybrid schedule with in-office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Job Summary

The Claims Service Representative is responsible for setting up new claims, issuing payments, provide support to adjusters and nurses. This position provides customer service for clients, providers and claimants. Certain duties may vary depending on the clients and states handled.

Essential Job Functions

• Set up new claims in system
• Provide Customer service to clients, providers & claimants
• Answer multi phone lines
• Mail out documents
• Image documents
• Issue payments
• Assist with projects as needed

Skills and Abilities

• Strong alpha/numeric data entry skills of 8,000 keystrokes with a 5% or below error rate
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment under general management direction to complete all assignments
• Good communication and telephone skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple task
• Prompt and regular attendance to pre-approved office schedule
