Immediate need for a talented Claims Manager with experience in the Insurance Industry. This is a 06+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Scottsdale, AZ. Please review the job description below. Job ID: 20-22299 Key Responsibilities and Technology Experience: Insurance claims managers are usually seen talking to clients who forward a claim to them. They normally interview their clients as well as go over the paperwork submitted to them. They figure out if the claim submitted matches any of the claims the company covers. In cases like this, the insurance claims manager puts the request on hold and contacts proper authorities to validate the claim. Makes files reports and hands it to the upper management for them to conduct further studies and investigations. An insurance claims manager has to have at least a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration and other business-related courses. Five years commercial property claims handling experience preferred. Knowledge: Proven knowledge of first party property legal and/or commercial claims terminology, state regulations, claims processes, best practices, and customer relationship management. Advanced knowledge of insurance theory and practices, insurance contracts and their application. Excellent customer focus and proven ability to proactively meet customer needs. Analytical skills necessary to make decisions and resolve conflict in application of coverage, laws of jurisdiction to investigation facts, policy exclusions and exceptions. Proven organizational skills to effectively prioritize increased and more complex workloads. Demonstrates strong but flexible standards and can be seen as balanced based on the conflicting demands of the position. Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively communicate and/or negotiate with various audiences. Demonstrated leadership capabilities to effectively train, coach, and provide feedback to less experienced associates.
