Claims Analyst

The Senior Analyst – Claims works closely with process leaders to develop key performance indicators (KPIs), improve operational reporting, and conduct data analysis to identify process improvement opportunities. This role is also responsible for month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and analyzing claims and operational data to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings.

Pay Rate: $33.71/hr on W2 Paid Weekly!

Job Description: Senior Analyst – Claims

General Function

The Senior Analyst – Claims works closely with process leaders to develop key performance indicators (KPIs), improve operational reporting, and conduct data analysis to identify process improvement opportunities. This role is also responsible for month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and analyzing claims and operational data to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Retrieve and analyze data from key systems, including SAP, AS400, Facets, and Business Objects.
• Prepare month-end reports and perform financial and operational analysis.
• Conduct research and prepare reports on claims, collection rates, and productivity.
• Create reports, graphs, and charts to present data and business performance.
• Analyze claims data, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to prepare and review reports and analyses.
• Track, report, and analyze financial and operational performance indicators.
• Prepare special claims and operational reports, identifying potential savings and process improvements.
• Work with all levels of management to gather, research, analyze, and summarize financial and operational data.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong business relationships.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and resolve problems effectively.
• Ability to analyze problems, compile data, evaluate facts, and draw logical conclusions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, provide constructive feedback, and recommend process improvements.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong internal, external, and cross-functional business relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve individual and business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SAP.
• Experience in claims analysis, financial reporting, operational analytics, and KPI reporting is an advantage.
