Role Summary:
Supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, inventory management, and material movement. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to assist in unloading, staging, and loading products. Maintains safety and accuracy standards during order picking, packing, and inventory verification. Works collaboratively across inbound, outbound, and warehouse departments to meet production and shipment goals. Candidates with warehouse or manufacturing experience, forklift certification, and a strong focus on safety and accuracy are ideal.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers safely in a warehouse environment.
- Unload incoming materials from trailers and verify received items into inventory systems.
- Use RF scanners and packing slips to accurately pick and prepare materials and supplies for shipment.
- Stage, move, and organize products throughout the warehouse as needed.
- Load finished products into trailers for outbound shipment.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring order accuracy and inventory integrity.
- Assist with inbound logistics, outbound shipping, packing, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse work area.
- Follow all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and operational procedures.
- Support warehouse projects and daily production goals through cross-training and team collaboration.
- Perform additional warehouse tasks as directed by supervisory staff.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 6 months to 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
- 6 months to 1 year of forklift, reach truck, or order picker experience.
- Ability to operate forklift, reach truck, and order picker equipment safely.
- Ability to verify and handle inventory accurately.
- Reliable attendance and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while following safety procedures.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Cross-training experience across multiple warehouse functions.
Tools / Equipment / Systems:
- Forklift, reach truck, and order picker equipment.
- RF scanners.
- Packing slips and inventory management systems.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
