Safety Coordinator - Traveling (Industrial Construction)
We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support industrial job sites where we construct bolted water storage tanks. This position is field-based and requires regular travel to active construction sites.
The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for enforcing OSHA compliance, client safety requirements, and contractual safety obligations, while promoting a strong safety culture among field crews.
Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 certification (minimum)
- 3+ years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or Safety Manager on civil or industrial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
- Ability to work independently in active industrial environments
- Willingness to travel to job sites nationwide
Responsibilities include:
- Enforcing safety policies and OSHA standards on job sites
- Conducting site safety inspections and safety meetings
- Coordinating with project teams and client safety representatives
- Identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions
