Civil Structural Engineer - Engineering Services - Base Salary to 140k/year - Alpharetta, GA
- Our client, an established engineering services organization, is seeking a licensed Civil Structural Engineer to support engineering projects involving structural evaluation, analysis, and design. This position involves assessing existing structures, preparing engineering calculations, and developing technical solutions for structural modifications and improvements.
- This is a full-time, onsite position in the North Atlanta metro area, Monday through Friday, with minimal travel.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural engineering evaluations, assessments, and analyses of existing structures.
- Conduct structural calculations, load assessments, and engineering evaluations to determine structural integrity and performance.
- Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structural modeling, and engineering design software to evaluate structural conditions.
- Develop engineering designs, technical recommendations, and solutions for structural modifications, repairs, and improvements.
- Prepare and review structural drawings, engineering calculations, and technical documentation.
- Apply applicable building codes, structural design standards, and engineering requirements.
- Coordinate engineering activities with project teams throughout the design and implementation process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 4+ years of professional engineering experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structural modeling, and engineering CAD and analysis software.
- Experience performing structural engineering calculations, analyses, and evaluations.
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in the North Atlanta metro area.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 115k - 140k/year range (flexible dependent on experience)
- Performance bonus of up to 5%
