CIVIL SPECIALIST 

Join a professional team dedicated to serving the citizens of Kootenai County.

This position is available in October of 2026.

THE POSITION: Civil Specialists are non-uniformed, non-certified sworn members of the Sheriff’s Office whose primary responsibility is the execution of civil processes and mandates of the courts.  This is a specialized field requiring knowledge of legal procedures, terminology and interpretation of legal documents.
