Summary

CIVIL SPECIALIST

This position is available in October of 2026.

THE POSITION: Civil Specialists are non-uniformed, non-certified sworn members of the Sheriff's Office whose primary responsibility is the execution of civil processes and mandates of the courts. This is a specialized field requiring knowledge of legal procedures, terminology and interpretation of legal documents.

  • Hourly Wage: $22.07 - $26.20 (DOE)
