    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships by exceeding expectations through collaboration, responsiveness, and problem-solving
    • Serve as a primary client contact, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and coordinating with stakeholders
    • Prepare project proposals, including scope, schedules, and fee estimates
    • Lead the execution of site civil projects, overseeing technical design, permitting, approvals, financial performance, and client coordination
    • Ensure compliance with local jurisdictional requirements, entitlement processes, and permitting regulations
    • Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress, schedules, and budgets to meet profitability goals
    • Assign and manage workloads, schedules, and priorities for project teams
    • Ensure department and individual QA/QC standards are followed consistently
    • Mentor and lead staff to promote efficiency, quality, and professional growth
    • Assist the Department Manager with the implementation and improvement of processes, procedures, and operational practices
    • Advise the Department Manager on project-related operational and management matters
    • Support business development efforts by maintaining existing client relationships and pursuing new opportunities through industry involvement, meetings, and events

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in site civil engineering and project management
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado
    • Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
    • Demonstrated design experience in site planning, layout, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management, utilities, erosion control, and landscaping
    • Strong understanding of entitlement processes and local permitting requirements
    • Proven experience managing projects, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
    • Strong engineering judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization externally
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-oriented leadership style
