Description
Position Summary
The Civil Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of heavy civil construction projects while cultivating new business opportunities relative to a particular client, client group, geographic area, or project type. This position oversees all aspects of project execution, including financial management, scheduling, contract administration, procurement, quality control, field operations, and technical management in accordance with contract requirements, engineering plans, project specifications, and corporate policies. Other responsibilities include preparing proposals, estimating costs, developing and forecasting schedules, planning projects, coordinating with engineering and field teams, overseeing field execution, and managing project closeout.
The ideal candidate has experience managing heavy civil construction projects involving infrastructure, site development, underground utilities, environmental remediation, roadways, bridges, industrial, or other civil construction work and possesses a strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and government contract requirements.

Physical Requirements
This position may require Team Members to work in both field and office settings. When working in the field, Team Members will be exposed to active construction environments, including moving heavy equipment, uneven terrain, excavation activities, utility installations, and varying weather conditions such as heat, humidity, cold, rain, and wind. Noise levels may be high due to operating construction equipment and machinery.
Team Members must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds using proper lifting techniques and perform repetitive physical activities for extended periods without undue fatigue. Field work requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and the ability to navigate active construction sites safely.
When working in the office, Team Members can expect a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise levels. Duties require prolonged periods of sitting, regular use of computers, telephones, printers, and other office equipment, and participation in in-person and virtual meetings. Team Members may occasionally lift or transport objects weighing up to 15 pounds, such as project files, plans, or office supplies.
