Position Overview

Core Responsibilities
Strategic Project Stewardship: Command the full lifecycle of diverse site development projects, ensuring every milestone aligns with the high standards of the firm's residential, commercial, and industrial portfolios.
Client & Business Advocacy: Cultivate lasting partnerships by leading site visits and high-level consultations; develop compelling proposals and precise fee structures that drive firm growth.
Integrated Leadership: Supervise and inspire a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
Financial & Scope Control: Rigorously monitor project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work using advanced accounting and management software to ensure fiscal health and project integrity.
Technical Synergy: Integrate complex civil systems with surveying, landscape architecture, and GIS disciplines to deliver holistic, award-winning site solutions.
Quality & Communication: Serve as the central point of contact for consultants and clients, translating technical complexities into clear, actionable project strategies.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.).
Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in public and private project design, with a specific focus on site development.
Software Proficiency: Expert command of AutoCAD, with a strong preference for Civil 3D.
Technical Acumen: Proven track record of producing comprehensive design plans for the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Preferred Qualifications
Business Intelligence: Strong understanding of business financial information and project accounting.
Market Presence: Established business development skills and a network within the South Carolina AEC market.
Advanced Leadership: Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across varied engineering branches (Environmental, Structural, or Marine).
